We work with systems that continuously measure gas composition and process parameters.

Industrial gas analysis

Industrial gas analyzers for process control, gas detection and emissions monitoring.

  • Process gas composition monitoring
  • Gas detection at outdoor sites and in buildings
  • Sampling and sample conditioning systems

About us

Delanic is an engineering company based in Pavlodar specializing in industrial gas analysis, process chromatography and I&C systems. Industrial enterprises need these systems to maintain process conditions, control product quality and monitor emissions.

Why choose Delanic

We build industrial gas analysis, process chromatography and I&C systems tailored to the needs of each specific plant and put them into operation. The result for the plant is continuous data on gas composition and process parameters.

Siemens partner and Bestowin representative
We supply Siemens equipment and Bestowin impulse lines as a partner and representative of these manufacturers. The design and heating of Bestowin lines are calculated at the factory for the conditions of each specific site.
End-to-end approach
From design to commissioning and maintenance service — one contractor, a single point of contact and a common work schedule.
Focus on measurement systems
Our core business is industrial gas analysis, process chromatography and I&C. From the design stage, we engineer the analyzer, sampling system, heated lines and instruments as one integrated system.
Work to applicable codes and standards
We carry out installation and commissioning in accordance with the regulations and standards in force in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the equipment manufacturers' instructions.
Customer-specific solutions
We select equipment based on the measured medium, ranges and installation conditions; for outdoor sites, we take winter temperatures into account. The customer defines the scope: the full cycle or individual stages.

More about impulse lines

Heated impulse lines — as a ready-made bundle

Bestowin is a Belgian manufacturer of tube bundles for instrumentation and analyzer applications. Tubing, heating, insulation and protective jacket are supplied as a single factory-made assembly: on site, the bundle is unrolled, cut to length and fitted with end terminations, and the heating is connected.

  1. Protective jacket
  2. Thermal insulation
  3. Tubing: stainless steel, copper, PFA/PTFE
  4. Heating cable or steam tracer
Electric or steam tracing
Bundles with heating cable or steam tracer — to suit the energy available on site and the required temperature.
Tubing to suit the medium
Stainless steel (316L and other grades), copper, PFA/PTFE, special alloys. One or more tubes per bundle, with an optional channel for a temperature sensor.
Sized for the process
The heating design and output are selected based on a heat-loss calculation for the specific process. According to the manufacturer's catalog, tubing is available from 3 to 12 mm and from 1/8" to 1".
Accessories
Besides bundles: pre-insulated tubing, instrument enclosures (heated on request), thermostats and temperature sensors, heating cable connection kits and end terminations, entry seals and heat-shrink boots.

Applications

  • Impulse lines for pressure and flow transmitters — winter freeze protection
  • Sample transport lines to gas analyzers and chromatographs
  • Continuous emissions monitoring systems
  • Steam distribution to tracers and condensate return
Request line selection

Selecting a line requires data on the medium, process temperature, minimum ambient temperature on site and route length. The heat-loss calculation is performed by the manufacturer.

Useful resources

Brief guides to gas composition measurement and impulse line heating at industrial facilities.

Automated emission monitoring: who it applies to

The Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan requires operators of Category I facilities to equip their main stationary emission sources with an automated emission monitoring system (CEMS). The data are transmitted in real time to the National Data Bank on the State of the Environment and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The system typically comprises continuous gas analyzers, a sampling and sample conditioning system, a heated sample line and flue gas parameter sensors. CEMS measuring instruments must be type-approved and verified. Equipment selection requires a list of emission sources, the substances to be monitored and the sampling conditions.

Process gas chromatograph vs. laboratory analysis

Laboratory analysis delivers results with a delay: the sample has to be taken, delivered to the lab and analyzed. A process gas chromatograph is installed directly at the process facility, takes samples automatically and determines the composition in cycles of a few minutes. The results are transmitted to the control system and used to run the process, monitor product quality and meter gas — at metering stations, the chromatograph determines calorific value and density. The reliability of the analysis depends largely on sampling: transport lag and condensation in the sample transport line distort the composition, so the line is selected together with the analyzer.

Impulse lines in winter: how to prevent freezing

At sub-zero temperatures, the medium or condensate in the impulse lines of pressure and flow transmitters can freeze: the instrument gives a false reading and the line may be damaged. To prevent this, the line is heat-traced with a heating cable or steam tracer and thermally insulated. Factory-assembled tube bundles, such as Bestowin, come with integrated heating, insulation and a protective jacket: on site they are unrolled, cut to length and connected. Line selection requires data on the medium, process temperature, minimum ambient temperature on site and route length; the heat-loss calculation is performed by the manufacturer.

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer maintenance service contracts?

Yes. The scope and frequency of work — scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting — are agreed for the specific system and set out in the contract.

What is needed to prepare a commercial proposal?

A data sheet, technical specification or equipment list. If you have no documents, describe the task: measured parameters, medium, ranges and installation conditions. We will help define the requirements at the engineering stage.

Do you install and commission equipment purchased by the customer?

Yes, we consider such projects. Send us the equipment list and a description of the site, and we will assess the scope of work and prepare a proposal.

Do you work to designs developed by other companies?

Yes. We carry out supply, installation and commissioning both to our own documentation and to designs developed by other companies.

Is an automated emission monitoring system (CEMS) mandatory for our facility?

For Category I facilities, yes: the Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan requires automated emission monitoring at the main stationary sources. We select gas analyzers and heated sample lines and carry out installation and commissioning.

Do you only work in Pavlodar?

Our office is in Pavlodar. Work at sites in other regions of Kazakhstan is possible by arrangement.

What are the lead times for supply and work?

Lead times depend on the type of equipment, its availability from the manufacturer and the scope of work on site. Specific lead times are stated in the commercial proposal.
